Billy Gibbons was recently introduced to the Stratocaster guitar made almost entirely out of cardboard.
Accompanied by drummer Matt Sorum, who played on his last two albums — 2018’s The Big Bad Blues and 2021’s Hardware – they went to Goodnoise Studio in Palm Springs, California where they recorded a song with the six-string titled “Cuttin’ Up Paper.”

Gibbons and ZZ Top are on tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd with the next show this Saturday in Fort Yates, North Dakota.
