FLEETWOOD MAC: Thursday Morning News

By Jim Cartwright Jul 20, 2023 | 11:13 AM

Fleetwood Mac‘s 40-million selling 1977 album, Rumours, is getting yet another lease on life.

Rumours Live contains nine of the album’s 11 tracks, all recorded at The Forum in Los Angeles on August 29th, 1977.

The nine other songs on the album are from the 1975’s Fleetwood Mac, while “Oh Well” dates back to the band’s 1969 line-up.

“Gold Dust Woman” from the show was included as a bonus track on 2021’s Live: Deluxe Edition, an expanded version of the Mac’s 1980 concert album. The other 17 songs have never been released before.

Rumours Live will be available on September 8th as two-CD and two-LP sets. The black-vinyl version has two 180-gram records, and a crystal clear-vinyl version will be released the same day exclusively at Walmart.

Rumours has just been certified 21x platinum in the U.S.

With today’s announcement comes the digital release of “Dreams.”
