Journey have released “Don’t Give Up on Us,” the fourth single off their new album, Freedom.
Guitarist Neal Schon says, “It is a very melodic song. It’s soulful, coming more from that R&B place and a little more Motown sounding but it definitely rocks. I feel like it’s got Journey all over it.”
What it has all over parts of it are similarities to their 1983 hit “Separate Ways.”
Freedom, their 15th album with 15 songs, will be released on July 8th.
