Tom DeLonge recently took to Instagram to tease the “epic” upcoming sixth album from Angels & Airwaves.
DeLonge posted a video to his page and wrote: “This new [Angels & Airwaves] album is epic..” The video contains behind-the-scenes footage of the former Blink-182 frontman at work.
DeLonge also shared an image of three guitars and an amp with the caption, “In the studio today, we used my BCR guitar a little bit on the new Angels & Airwaves.”
The record, which is a follow-up to the band’s 2014 full-length album, The Dream Walker, has been in the making for a long time.
Angels & Airwaves had posted on social media earlier this year that they were putting the finishing touches to their 6th studio album and wrote they felt it will be their best.
In late 2019, DeLonge told Kerrang! that their “next record is probably going to be the best of my life.”
In April 2020, DeLonge and company released “All That’s Left Is Love,” which raised funds for U.S. charity Feeding America in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
