Mudloff then reached on an error by the second baseman to tie the game 1-1.
Elana Gerhard then gave the Lady Broncos the lead when she reached on a fielder’s choice to plate Tanabe. Macie Mays then ripped a RBI double to right to make it 3-1 in favor of HC. Taylor Stuhr then singled home Gerhard followed by a RBI single from Katyn Kappler to make it 5-1.
Concordia did pick up a run in the third to make it a three run game but the flood gates opened up in the bottom half of the inning as Tanabe and Skinner started things off with RBI singles. Schneider forced a run home on a fielder’s choice, then Mudloff and Gerhard picked up RBI singles as HC was now leading 11-2. Stuhr came back in with a runner on and belted her first home run on the season depositing the ball over the left field fence to put the Lady Broncos up 13-2.
Hastings would tack on two more in the fourth and run away with game two 15-2 in five innings.
Angelina Lockhart had another solid outing throwing 5.0 innings giving up just two runs on three hits to pick up her fourth win of the year.
