KEARNEY – The 2023 Fort Kearney Conference Volleyball tournament begins its action today across the area, as the championship is set for Thursday night at Kearney High School.
Today’s action includes #8 Elm Creek facing #9 Wilcox-Hildreth at Overton High School, as the winner faces the Eagles at 7 PM. In Amherst, #7 Loomis battles #10 Hi-Line with the winner taking on the #2 Broncos.
#4 Axtell and #5 Pleasanton face off at Overton at 6 PM, while #3 SEM faces #6 Ansley-Litchfield in Amherst.
Winners of Monday’s matches play at Kearney Catholic on Tuesday at 6 PM and 7 PM – along with consolation matches between the first round losers – with the championship and consolation contests set at Kearney High School on Thursday, Oct. 12.
