AC/DC, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Back in Black, have launched The Story of Back in Black, a video series examining their biggest album.
The first episode examines “You Shook Me All Night Long,” the album’s first single and their first song to crack the Billboard Top 40, peaking at number-35.
In addition, the band posted live performances of “What Do You Do for Money Honey” and “You Shook Me All Night Long” on their YouTube channel. Both videos are taken from 2007’s Plug Me In DVD.
Back in Black was released on July 25th, 1980.
It was their first album with Brian Johnson, who replaced Bon Scott who died the previous February from alcohol poisoning.
Back in Black went platinum in October 1980 and was certified 25-times platinum last December.
