GRAND ISLAND — An 88-year-old Grand Island man is facing charges of criminal child enticement and stalking in Hall County Court.

Floyd Leiser, Jr., is charged with felony stalking, a Class 3A felony and criminal child enticement – first offense, a Class 3A felony.

Leiser was arraigned in Hall County Court on Monday, June 30 and his bail was set at 10 percent of $25,000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 6 at 3 p.m.

According to an affidavit submitted into the court records, Leiser is accused of attempting to entice a 13-year-old girl away from her mother and others while at the slash pad in Pier Park.

Leiser allegedly attempted to motion and verbalize for the juvenile to get into his pickup in an attempt to isolate her from her mother. He is accused of approaching the same juvenile on two prior occasions in the last two months.

Leiser would be contacted by the Grand Island Police Department and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
