Anthrax singer Joey Belladonna is paying homage to the late Ronnie James Dio by launching a new tribute band.
The new group will play four shows in Florida in August, performing music from Dio, Black Sabbath and Rainbow.
Belladonna recently took to social media to announce that he and his wife Krista have formed the new Dio tribute band.
“Krista and I are proud to announce our new tribute band to Ronnie James Dio! A night of songs from Dio, Sabbath, and Rainbow!” the singer wrote on Facebook.
According to Belladonna’s official website, the concerts will see Belladonna tackle Dio’s most iconic releases including “Holy Diver,” “Rainbow In The Dark,” “Heaven And Hell,” “Neon Knights” and more.
