The Nebraska Racing and Gaming commission gave the go-ahead for the Fonner Park casino to open its doors. The Racing and Gaming Commission approved the casino’s operator license and hours of operation yesterday.
The doors to the casino will formally open on Tuesday, December 27th following a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon. The temporary casino is located in the concourse of Fonner Park and features around 300 slot machines, kiosks for horse betting, and by 2023, table games.
The casino will be open Sunday through Thursday 8 am to Midnight. Friday and Saturday, the casino will be open 8-3 am.
