This times Brown Bag Lunch Series is titled “The Kearney Street Railway” presented by Dr. Nathan Tyeat.
The event is presented by The Kearney Public Library and UNK History Department and will discuss how Kearney transformed at the turn of the century from horse drawn carriage’s to street railways that brought a feeling of modernity and innovation, and much more.
This program is free and open to the public so bring your lunch and learn!
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 9 from noon-1:00 pm.
